Today’s California adventures were pretty slim. I didn’t go anywhere, but I did enjoy another afternoon in shorts. Not that I haven’t worn a pair before, but any day to nix the jeans is a great one for me.
I did try my hand at job searching, and much like everywhere else, California has a Walmart, a Target and a Lowes. One business no state but California has though is a grocery store called Nugget Markets. I’ve yet to set foot in one; I told my brother that I wasn’t ready to give my heart to another grocer; but I did apply to work at two, so maybe I’ll eventually consent to finding a new love, you never know with these things.
For now I can say that I’ve put my camera battery on the charger, because tomorrow I’m taking pictures. I’m going on a morning walk with my mom, and can’t wait to digitally capture one of those dazzling California birds.
