I’ve been meaning to write a post about what exactly I do for work. I usually tell people that I do marketing for a software company called Verisage, which is true, but I also am the program director for a 9-week Web Development program called Dojo Dev Camp. Basically, in 9 intense weeks, we provide everyday people with enough training to get their foot in the door to a full-time, Jr. Development position, which, by the way, makes an average starting salary of $50,000 to $85,000. According to Glassdoor.com, Utah alone is currently short 3,000 developers. America? – about 250,000. The jobs are out there, people just need the training; and that’s where we come in.
